  • Bereavement and loss

In addition I have a particular interest in supporting clients in strengthening their

  • Self-esteem
  • Confidence
  • Relationships
I offer one-time consultations, short-term (6 weeks), and long-term therapy.
My work draws on a background of training and experience from
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Repossessing Therapy (EMDR), Person– Centred, Solution Focused (SFBT), and Gestalt therapies.

Ethos of therapies offered:

  •  CBT explained by Aaron Beck

“…the cognitive approach helps individuals to come to grips with the problems leading to emotional distress and to gain a broader perspective…”

  • SFBT explained by Steve de Shaz

“Where you stand determines what you see and what you do not see.
It determines also the angle you see it from.
A change in where you stand changes everything.”

  • Person-Centred is Humanistic and explained by Carl Rogers

“When I look at the world I’m pessimistic, but when I look at people I am optimistic. The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

  • EMDR explained by Francine Shapiro

“Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction.”

  • Gestalt explained by E. Hubbard & F. Perls

“The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.”
“Learning is the discovery that something is possible”
